Michael Barden and Son h350

MICHAEL BARDEN
candidate
Limington & Limerick

Michael Barden is a native-born Mainer, and, as such, harbors an innate love for this wonderful state, and, concomitantly, for its people. It is this love that leads him to pursue the opportunity to represent the interests of the state and its inhabitants. Mike is married and is father to one son. Not altogether surprisingly, it was the birth of his son that birthed Mike’s awareness of the political climate facing Maine citizens today. He could, of course, recognize what was good in the governance he observed, but, more importantly, he gained keen insight into what needed to be changed. Shortly thereafter, he began his involvement in local affairs, joining the Maine Green Party, and becoming a member of the Saco River Corridor Commission. Additionally, Mike assists with Limington PATV.

With a solid moral compass, Mike strives diligently to maintain a high level of integrity, and has a strong work ethic. He divides his time between his employment with a well-established Portland eatery and his family farm in Limington. It is this somewhat diverse urban-rural association that gives this young man valuable insight into the needs and desires of the residents of Southern Maine. Gregarious and with an easy manner, Mike is readily approachable, and eager to engage anyone in conversation, especially in regard to issues that folks feel need to be addressed.

ANDY HOWARD
candidate Kittery

Andy is a lifelong Mainer, originally from Hampden, now living in Kittery with his family. He owes the great State of Maine a debt of gratitude for the opportunities he’s been given and hopes to uphold, through his public service, Maine’s standing as the nations leader in people-first public policy.

Home Battery Recycle kit 3 10 plus shipping

The Biddeford Green Independent Party Committee is in the planning stages of a local fundraiser to help residents of Maine recycle their used batteries. We will include a battery tester so that you can be sure that your battery has no more voltage of any use. We will let you know where the nearest battery drop off is near your town. We hope to keep the price down so that Recycling and Disposal costs will be affordable to all Maine residents. This convenient Kit will take up little space in your home.

Don’t throw those Old Batteries in your Trash…
